The condenser is one of the main heat exchange components of industrial chillers, and its function is to cool the high temperature and high pressure gas into a high temperature and high pressure liquid. This is the process of condensation, and it is also a process of heat dissipation. The refrigerant in the gaseous state is liquefied or condensed in the condenser, which plays the role of exporting heat energy and condensing the refrigerant during the refrigeration process.
According to the different cooling medium and cooling method, condensers can be divided into three categories: water-cooled condensers, air-cooled condensers, and evaporative condensers. According to the structure type of condenser, it can be divided into plate type, plate belt type, serpentine tube type, shell tube type, spiral plate type, plate fin type, finned tube type and so on. The crown condenser adopts a self-made high-efficiency finned condenser, which has the advantage of high heat transfer efficiency and compact structure, which is suitable for various types of chillers.
When installing the condenser, it should be noted that the refrigerant discharged from the compressor must enter by the upper end of the condenser, and its outlet must be below, otherwise it will cause the pressure of the refrigeration system to rise, resulting in the danger of condenser expansion and cracking.
For the maintenance and maintenance of the condenser, Xiaobian recommends the following four points:
1. Use pure water as the cooling water of the chiller water tank, and check regularly to prevent the growth of scale. If the pipe wall has been scaled, it needs to be cleaned in time.
2. Regularly check the tightness and corrosiveness inside the pipe fittings to prevent accidents such as blockage and perforated water.
3. Use the air gun regularly to clean the dust on the surface of the condenser to avoid poor heat dissipation.
4. When the chiller is not running for a long time, the condenser and water tank need to be dried.
